Our roots go back to the late ‘90s in the afterglow of the general aviation revitalization act (GARA), which became law in 1994. It was on the heels of that legislation that Cessna Aircraft re-started piston aircraft production and it’s network of Cessna Pilot Centers. Our President, Alan Goodnight, was on that team and is proud to have logged hours in many of the early production 172s.

Since that time, aircraft used in flight training have evolved and, of course, become much more expensive. This, combined with historical demand for pilot training is what caused us to start WingsLeasing. Access to capital for flight schools has never been more important.

We are experts at financing and passionate aviators. We have started 141 flight schools within a college setting. We have unique industry insight into pricing-per-hour, flight school economics and access to data on hundreds of aircraft being leased and financed at flight schools. In short, our mission is to ensure flight schools have the capital they need to grow and remain profitable.
